Greetings from Addis Ababa Ethiopia,
Addis Ababa is the capitol city of Ethiopia with approximately 6.2 million people. We at Reaching Beyond Words Ethiopia, are grateful that through the years we have been able to help some of the many needy people in our city. Thank you for your continued prayers and support, as we often say it is MAKING A DIFFERENCE FOR GOOD!

We have another marvelous Praise Report as Abraham Shewangezaw has graduated from Selam Technical Vocational center, in general mechanic’s. Abraham started with the Reaching Beyond Words program at age 10 years old and he is now 22. His mother is a widow and has been very grateful for the support through the years for her and her son and daughter. Abraham has been an A student and in fact he wants to obtain two more degrees one in computer science and also in fine Arts. We thank God for his testimony!!

Also please pray with us for Besufekad Aby our special needs child, since he was sick last year he has had pain in his legs, making it difficult for him to sit very long. He has missed a year of school, but we at Reaching Beyond Words are working on different ways to help him as he would like to be able to attend school. We even had the thought of a tutor, but home schooling is not allowed. We have talked to the director of the school near Besufekad’s home and they are very willing to have him in their school. For now the thought is we will hire a taxi to take him, with his wheelchair, to and from school 2-3 days a week, as the director suggested those number of days. There is a class for those with disabilities and if Besufekad needed to lay down he could. This class does a lot of hands on projects as well as scholastic subjects. Our prayer and hope is that Besufekad at 16 years now would find a friend and enjoy being at school and that physically his body would begin to mend.
God Bless You All! Ethiopia Reaching Beyond Words staff
