Reaching Beyond Words sponsors about 80 children. Sponsorship is a special kind of giving that creates a relationship between you and the community in which the child lives. For $70 (Uganda) and $70 (Ethiopia) a month, you can make a lasting difference in the life of a child.
How Will the Child Benefit?
Your sponsored child receives:
- Education they would never be able to afford
- School supplies
- School uniform
- Participation in a feeding program providing them with nutritious food
- Daily supplementary food (Ethiopia)
- Medical care (Ethiopia)
- Christian discipleship
- Spiritual growth activities for their families
- Ability to live in the Mission House (Uganda)
- Food, clothing and health care (Uganda)
- Vocational training (Uganda)
Your Experience as a Sponsor
As Reaching Beyond Words sponsor, you will be provided with:
- A photo of your sponsored child
- Basic information such as name and family background
- A picture that your child has drawn with a letter from them/their family every year
- An update on your child’s progress once every 6 months
- A general update on our programs related to your sponsorship every 4-6 weeks
