Hello to All,
Once again we are very happy to greet you and share what is happening with the Ethiopian NGO for the month of September 2017. We have been especially busy this month with the new school year starting for all the children in the program.
The Filipino brother, Elias, who is working in Ethiopia, donated some school materials like books, pens, and pencils. They fed all our children the first Saturday morning, as they regularly do the first week of the month. God bless them.
We have meetings once a month as usual, but this time was special as Brother Burt was here to visit us. He encouraged all the children’s families to be diligent in their studies and to be cooperative for the work of Reaching Beyond Words. This visit was very timely as we have had different meetings with the young children, their families, and the widows and single mothers. In each meeting we had a very wonderful time and we heard very interesting testimonies from the widows. By what they shared it shows they are very happy with the training and are showing changes in their lives and the way they live.
We also had discussions with the Government of Women and Children Affairs concerning the proper ways in the operational area. It was good and helpful to work cooperatively with how we at the RBW NGO can keep the RBW rules. The Government of Women and Children’s Affairs agreed to take responsibility on their side and we, as always, agree to do our part.
Our children’s families are very happy by all the support from the RBW program, so while Brother Burt was here they prepared tea and coffee with a time of fellowship in our office and they say “God bless you all!”
