In Ethiopia it is currently summer break, we will start back to school September 11th, the new year for us. Currently here in Ethiopia it is the year 2018 and in September it will be 2019! With it being summer break for our young people it gives us an excellent opportunity to have some special meetings to teach God’s word, both the young people, widows and single mother’s ask for these teachings. That is a PRAISE THE LORD!
Please pray with us for these special meetings that God’s word will be clear and understandable that all that hear will be encouraged and grow in the Lord.
Also please pray with us for Brother Solomon and his family. They recently had a baby girl, the prayer is that this little one will grow strong and healthy. In the last few years they have had two daughters die, so we are earnestly praying for this little one to be protected from any illness, Amen.
It is such a testimony for these widows and single mothers to even have a bank account. When they entered the program they came from such poverty never having enough sometimes for food, let alone a bank account, so these ladies now having a trade to earn money and save some is so marvelous. One widow has saved 20,000 Ethiopian Birr which is over $123. So exciting to see!! We are very blessed each time we see God move in the lives of the children and their families. May God receive all the praise!!
