Sponsorship is a special kind of giving that creates a relationship between you and the community in which your sponsored child lives. For about $1.30 a day, you can make a lasting difference in the life of a child.
For $40 a month or $480 a year, your sponsored child receives:
- Good education
- School supplies
- School uniform
- Shoes
- Casual clothes
- Supplementary food
- Medical care
- Christian discipleship
As the Reaching Beyond Words sponsor, you will be provided with:
- A photo of your sponsored child (you will be given access to our database of children currently available for sponsorship to choose your child from)
- Basic information about the child, such as name, family background and his/her new home establishment
- A picture that your child has drawn with a letter from him/her and/or his/her guardian(s)
- An update on your child’s progress once every 6 months
- Monthly update on our work in Ethiopia
