Dear Brethren,
We write this letter with hearts of gratitude for having had the privilege of knowing our dear Sister Biri. On May 28, 2026, she went to be with the Lord. As our hearts are sad knowing we will not see our sister physically anymore, we rejoice because we know she is with Jesus her Lord and savior. It’s not easy when loved one’s pass, but our consolation is she is happy and pain free, rejoicing with the Lord.
Please pray with us for her family and friends that are walking through this time of grief. God’s comfort and peace be their portion.
Sister Biri moved to Uganda for her work in the mid 2000’s at the UN Human Rights office as the Deputy Country Representative. She was a human rights advocate that truly cared for the people.
Sister Biri always opened her home in Uganda for those that wanted to fellowship together in things of the Lord. Soon ministry came from near and abroad to teach the gospel message. The work grew and with that a vision for the needy children developed with sister Biri’s encouragement and wisdom. With those of like vision the Reaching Beyond Words mission house was started in 2017, with 10 very needy children. When sister Biri was relocated to another country because of work, she generously gave some of her furniture to the Mission House including many essentials.
This is just one example of her very caring and giving heart.
She loved the Lord Jesus Christ and spread that love to so many.
We in Uganda will surely miss her, but as we have said we are so thankful for her life.
God Bless You All!!
