PRAISE THE LORD! We have been going through difficult times concerning the traveling out to meet the needs of the Reaching Beyond Words ,(RBW)_Uganda compound provisions ,such as food and other supplies. It was not unusual for it to take us over two hours of driving the car from the Mission House going into Kampala. Sometimes you find what you’re going to do in town it doesn’t really need you to go with a car but at the end of it all, it’s the only solution you have in order to get the necessary work that is required for the maintenance and operation of the Mission House; not to mention the visitation needed to keep in touch with the beneficiaries that are not staying at the compound. The expense involved is also another factor; the cost of fuel is very expensive and as it is with some of the children, where they live,it is difficult to reach by car. The major contributing factor in all of this was when Uganda initiated the lock-down of the country due to the pandemic (COVI-19); movement by car was prohibited. Seven of the children were re-allocated to the Mission House, for their safety sake, being as their home environment was not a safe one. Obtaining food was also quite difficult, that is the access to food supplies, since most of the market areas are far from the mission house. So, several times I would hire a motorbike,( in Uganda it is called a Boda Boda), from different people whom I knew. I found I could carry many supplies on a bike! But even the cost of hiring was high.
With all this happening we took the matter to The Father in prayer; with the children praying to the Lord for the intervention, that we will have our own motorbike. From our perspective it appeared exceedingly difficult and tricky, such a lot of money for the cost of the Motorbike. However, in our time of prayer and seeking the will of the Father, the Lord spoke to us; Mathew19:26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible. We believed God. We went ahead and shared this prayer request with some of the the brethren. Brother Burt and Sister Nancy encouraged us to pray and believe God for his intervention and provision; we waited for a little while. It was in the evening when I received a call from Brother Burt, with the good news, which left myself, my wife (Sister Concy) and all the children speechless wondering about the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Hallelujah! All seven of the children requested to go with me to the store so that they could help select the best color of the motorcycle. Unfortunately, that was not possible. Brother Burt sent all the finances which were needed to purchase the Bike. We bought the motorbike and it fits exactly with what we had asked the Lord for. The bike is now facilitating the operations of RBW-NGO in Uganda! We have it here at the Mission House. Praise the Lord, we really thank God for his mercies that are new every morning and we thank God for all our beloved sponsors; that you will live to see the provision of The Father in the land of the living. We want to thank God for the Brethren and Brother Burt and Sister Nancy, let the Father shine the light of His countenance upon them and those brethren that have helped us to achieve this goal. We are so grateful.
God is faithful.
