Hello to All,
It is our great pleasure to share with you our Ethiopian Reaching Beyond Words August report.
At this time in the month of August, we are in the rainy season. For us this means a lot of rain which makes the dirt roads very muddy and travel can be quite difficult. Because of the continuous rain, it can also be cold for us. Even with these conditions we have accomplished a lot by the help of God.
This month we were very busy with many things. We have purchased educational material and distributed it to all the 75 beneficiaries for their school material. We also purchased and distributed uniforms.
We had a get-together day and gave awards for the students that have excelled in school. It was a very excellent time. The government guests that attended gave an encouraging message to all our beneficiaries and they also said they appreciate our RBW work. Therefore our work has gotten acknowledgment and good feedback by the government representatives from the SUB CITY AND OPERATIONAL AREA WOMEN YOUTH OFFICERS. We thank God for all His help as we also show progress in our widows’ self-sustainability work and savings program.
All our orphans and beneficiaries are now registered for the coming September new school year. We had our once a month meeting as usual, and our special needs children are very thankful for the support for their special needs.
We have seen a lot of progress in our work this month, so we praise God and pray God bless each of you for all your love and support of His Kingdom work.
