It is January 2015 and we are still amazed at all God did for us last year. Not only has He entrusted us with some special children and widows in Ethiopia but also proved to us over and over that He is more than able to provide for all their needs. We are very grateful for their lives and progress in our program. We are also grateful for His special ways of provision.
As many of you know, in January 2014 we started selling Ethiopian coffee in the U.S.A. in order to cover at least some of the children’s and widows’ program expenses. What a fun! This activity gave us an opportunity to meet some wonderful people whether by selling our coffee door-to-door, at the farmer’s market, or standing in front of several gracious stores. Our coffee supplier has been very generous to us providing us with the best possible wholesale prices and, of course, a high quality product.
To summarize this fundraising effort, we:
- Sold 890 12 oz. bags or 667.5 lbs. of coffee.
- Made $3,303.50.
- This amount will provide support for 7 of our children for all of 2015!
We want to express our gratitude to our dear sellers, as well as all of you, our coffee drinkers, who have made this endeavor possible. We trust you will enjoy partnering with us in 2015 also! We thank you for your continued support.
