Dear Faithful Family,
Greetings from Ethiopia. Please note we have included the song we sing.
The Bible says we are family in the Lord, as Galatians 3:26-29 explains that through faith in Christ, believers are all one in Him and heirs according to the promise. So as believers we are in the household of God through the spiritual adoption of faith in Jesus Christ. Such a wonderful promise, and we are so very blessed by you all!!
We wanted to share some news from Ethiopia; the work is going well. We continue to do a tutorial program for the young people that need help with school, we also gather once a month with the children and families to discuss important skills that are needed for parenting but also as a young person how to be respectful at home and in school, ( just one of the topics).

The widows and single mother’s training continue with new women joining when there are those that graduate and are given supplies to start their own business. So, rewarding to see these women come from such a place of poverty, with so little to come to a place where they can earn a living and provide for their families.
We have special times where we gather the teens to teach and discuss God’s word. The questions and comments the teens have, have been encouraging. The younger children get a special time too, to learn about God and his love for them.
There is another subject we would like to bring to your attention for prayer. You might remember praying for our special needs child Besufekad Aby, the Doctors thought he might die, but through much prayer he is doing much better, and now he is able to be in his wheelchair and use his hands to move the wheels by himself. He did not have use of his hands for a while. Besufekad Aby is the middle child, he has an older sister and a younger brother who is 6 years old. His mother Abyot Tadesse is a single mother living on very limited funds. The RBW program supplies needs for Besufekad and also food for the family. Because the government recognizes the difficulty with the high cost of living, they have given Abyot a small lot to put a shack( the term used) or small house on. We have included some pictures. You will see a picture of a typical shack in Ethiopia. We at Reaching Beyond Words want to contribute to getting a nice place built for Abyot Tadesse and her family. A recent donation will help us toward that goal, thank you so very much!!

Thank you for praying for this family and for the work in Ethiopia. There are many needs all over the world and we are so grateful that you bless this work with not only your prayers but financial support too. It means a lot, with so many lives being touched for good.
God Bless You,
Brother Jemal and the Reaching Beyond Words Staff
