Dear Subscribers,
In January 2024, Brother Roman and I went to Ethiopia and Togo for a mission trip. You can read Brother Roman’s report under Ethiopia post, or a longer more detailed version there also.
Brother Roman described the Ethiopian part of the journey very well. There is no need to add to it form my side. Brother Roman Flew back home from Addis Ababa and I continued my journey to Lome, Togo. I traveled alone and met brethren in Lome, Togo. Before I mostly accompanied somebody, but the last two years it has been different. Recently I am the one that is in the lead position, not in the sense to rule over others lives, but I am the one that organized the trips, make most of the arrangements, communication with local people etc. I feel more responsible for others going with me.
Togo was again different. I was the whole week alone. Nobody was able to travel with me. This trip to Togo it seems God did a new thing, and I think it was good, new experience I believe it was good also for the brethren in Togo. There was more time for personal discussions, more time for Bible study, touching lives around. It looks like they were blessed to have me there and touch the things God gave over to me by His mercy.
The whole mission was held in the theme of God’s mercy. Without it we have nothing, we can do nothing and we can achieve nothing. Without His mercy nothing has eternal benefit. Brethren in Togo obtained mercy to reach children in the school that Sister Felicia founded. Those children are very often involved in idol worship and witchcraft. May God help our brethren to overcome those spirits and give them the right words to bring them to Christ, that was slain for them.
Thank you all that stand with us, and pray for us.
Brother Tomas
