Desta Alemu is 33 years old, mother of three children, living in a difficult and the poorest of poor family situation.
She has successfully completed her three-month skills training, which is provided by Ethiopian Reaching Beyond Words NGO. She has been given seed money from the program of 3,000 Birr on November 11, 2017 to start her small-scale business.
Since then, she has become successful at making a traditional Ethiopian drink. She is now able to pay her house rent on time and provide variety of foods for her children.
She is also able to save money in the bank (50 Birr every week) for her future career.
