We are always so grateful to be able to share some of the ongoing endeavors of the works in Africa. There is a song we sing, and one verse is “God is moving Us On, He is leading the way, a way we have never been before, there are mountains to climb, there are valleys to cross, but before us is an open door.” We believe and sense God’s continued hand of guidance each day and rejoice as we see lives blooming as they submit to the Lord.
Here we have included some testimonies from a few of the young people in Uganda.
Daphine is in culinary school, please pray with her as she finishes some night classes on Food and Beverage costs, and Restaurant Management. Pray that the math involved will come easy to her and she will be able to calculate well on her exams. Daphine has delighted many with her culinary skills and that is why she has opened a little “café” at one of the local schools canteen.
Omara Aaron, during school breaks has been working as an apprentice at a local carpentry shop, at first, they did not pay him, but later they gave him a little bit of money, which he has used to buy some needed things for himself but also he bought a pair of shoes for Ruth and Stephen. We are blessed by his thoughtfulness. Omara has enjoyed carpentry so much that he now is going to a two-year vocational school for carpentry wanting to learn and perfect his skills. Please pray with us that he will learn well.
You will also see a few pictures from founders’ day of the school some of our young people have and are attending. It is a primary level school. The Founders are a Christian couple from Poland. The school was opened in 1992, and the founder is handing over the oversight of the Children’s Welfare Mission school to his daughter. God Bless them.
God Bless You for praying with and for us and thank you for your faithful support which enables us to continue through this open-door God has given us.
Many Blessings,
Reaching Beyond Words Uganda
