July 25, 2012

Firstfruits Christian Academy successfully ended its first academic session on the 20thof July, 2012 with an end of session programme. The programme began with an opening prayer by the Mathematics teacher, Mrs. Grace Ogwuoma followed by an opening remark by the acting head teacher Mr. ThankGod Abali who expressed his gratitude to all the teachers for their efforts in ensuring that the session ended on a very good note. He also commended the students for their good behavior and hard work.

The brilliance of the students was displayed in a series of events. Parents, teachers and other guests were thrilled by the students of Firstfruits Christian Academy. The students actually saw the end of session celebration as an avenue to showcase their talents in arts such as music, drama, academic quizzes and recitation of poems which were performed for the audience.

Furthermore, outstanding students of the school in different categories were recognized. The categories were:

1. Best behave student.
2. Most punctual student.
3. Neatest student.

Though gifts were not presented to them, they were elated by the recognition. We will try to provide prizes (little gifts) to deserving students in the future.

Parents and guardians who were present at the party to give moral support to their children and wards were happy with the facilities already in place and encouraged the management on the construction going on in the school. A prospective student of the school was also in attendance. A number of children living in a nearby Government Estate were also in attendance. Some came into the Hall others watched through the windows.

Report sheets and newsletters will be given to the students on Thursday, July 26th, 2012. The date for the Entrance examination will be communicated to prospective students as soon as a date is fixed.
