Once again, we were able to go and work at Fistfruits Christian Academy in Nigeria. We had a meeting with the secondary school children. We asked them what they liked about the school and what they did not like and what they would like us to do more. They talked very positively of the school and the teachers and their demands were very reasonable. For instance, they want to start a school farm, use the library more, and have a few clubs (like dramatic society, etc.).
We also chatted informally with some of the parents as they came after school to get their children. They also were happy with the school.
We had a meeting with the teachers collectively and also individually to get a feel of their challenges. This too went very well.
The school compound was very neat, which was nice to see.
