Happy 2018!! Yes, you read that right as of September 11th, 2025, our calendar changed to 2018. 
Of course, for those who live outside of Ethiopia it is 2026. May God give wisdom and understanding in all you do!
We greet you from Reaching Beyond Words in Ethiopia and we would like to share with you some of the activities for the month of December 2025 .
The meetings with the children and family members are a fruitful time of sharing and discussing pertinent things as hygiene and daily living and encouragement from God’s word.
We purchased and distributed wheat flour for all our children’s families ,and we gave one of the widows that completed her training, money to open her own business and to be self-sustainable and self-sufficient as she has graduated out from the Reaching Beyond Words training program. God Bless and Keep her.
Our feeding program was very special with not only a teaching in God’s word and good food to eat, but also the Filipino brethren gave different gifts for all our children like towels, bathroom soap, hair oil, and such. May God bless the Filipino brethren for blessing the children with these gifts.
We gathered all our little children in the program from the ages 7-12 years old. They were doing coloring from different Bible stories talking about Abraham, Joseph, Moses ,it was a very nice time. The children like to hear the stories, do the coloring and having a meal together.
We want to thank the Birra Genet NGO’S . There was a special 3-day training seminar, to help train the woman on how to save money, how to establish credit, how to be an entrepreneur in business and be creative in their work. Meseret the project director of that NGO’S gave such great teachings.
As we begin a new month and year ,having seen God’s hand of provisions ,guidance and wisdom in all aspects, we thank God for this care. Let all glory to be our Almighty God, Amen.
Thank you for continuing to pray for Kidus Anteneh and his battle with diabetes, also our special needs child Beusfekad Abye for a total recovery and the ability to move his legs. Nothing is impossible with God. Amen.
