Hello to all of you,
It is our pleasure and joy to share with you about God’s great help in the work of the Ethiopian Reaching Beyond Words in the month of October. We thank God for all His provision and guidance in leading us daily on the right path.
We have accomplished the following things in the month of October 2015:
As you may know, we have been giving our widows specialized training to help them learn a trade. The ten widows have now graduated from their three-month course and received their seed money to be used to help them begin a new business and improve their future. Sister Lemlem, their trainer, continues to assist them by visiting their work places and giving them practical counsel on how to run their businesses.
We have also distributed nutritional Teff flour to each of our 75 children and their families.
The board members and others from the General Assembly of RBW ETH contributed money to help us with the expenses of the program. It is quite a sacrifice for them and we are very grateful for it.
We would like to share one more thing with you: the non-governmental organization Redeem the Generation had freely given free medical support for all our beneficiaries for the past two months. Now they have blessed us one more time and allowed us to use one of their rooms free of charge for the tutorial classes we hold on Saturdays. May God bless them. Please pray with us as Redeem the Generation is also looking to see if they can help us further.
Our social worker has been visiting each of our beneficiaries and their families; a big job with 75 children. She has been checking on them to make sure each child is well and in good health as they have started the last quarter of school for 2015 (which is 2008 in our Ethiopian calendar).
We praise God for all His help until now. We trust Him and thank Him for showing us His direction and blessing us in His kingdom’s work.
We would like to thank God and all of you for your love, prayers, contributions and offerings for this work. May God bless you all!!
